I’ve been ordering the same meal from through Grubhub for a while now. I think I’ve called in maybe twice and asked for extra raita crema sauce and they provided it. But now when I order, I don’t even have to ask, it’s just added. I called to ask who made my order and it was Ellis. I want to commend Ellis for being so thoughtful and remembering me and making my order so much better! We need more people like Ellis. Everything I have ordered from velvet taco is so delicious! 10/10 recommend. Thank you so much Ellis and velvet taco!

I really liked the atmosphere and the painting at the back was gorgeous. Lots of outdoor seating. The tacos are very niche. I had a shrimp taco and it was really pretty, but the flavor wasn't there for me. Maybe if the shrimp had been grilled instead of breaded and fried. My husband had a smash burger taco and liked it. We had chips and queso. The chips are blue corn and really hard but still tested good. The queso was warm at best. Do have a piece of red velvet cake. This place is pretty pricey for what we ordered.

We went to Velvet Taco in Waco for the first time. The atmosphere was nice and clean with options to sit outside. We ordered the combo that comes with two tacos a side and a drink. There's a variety of options of tacos and sides as well. The food was good but not great. We feel that it was a little over priced but wouldn't mind trying some of the other menu options again in the future.
