I had a disappointing experience with a manager who claimed her name Maxx but the receipt says Jala. I came in to redeem a free doughnut coupon and politely asked if it would be possible to substitute it for a chocolate glazed doughnut. I was initially told that I could pay an upcharge for the substitution. However, when I got to the window, Maxx stated that she sometimes can make one-time courtesy exceptions for customers but would not do so for us because we didn’t look according to her kind. I visit this Krispy Kreme occasionally when I have a gift and usually receive okay service however today was a different story. I pulled up to the window and ordered an assorted box and when asking for specific doughnuts was told they did not have them. This is the usual at most Krispy Kremes however, the gentleman working the drive-thru had a severe attitude. When asked about a certain type of doughnut he said they did not have that doughnut, which is perfectly fine.
