Can’t give the food a bad rating cause I’ve had Sub City DoorDashed previously and it’s a great sub. Earlier I drove by and figured I’d stop in. I really regret doing so. I’ve never been in a SubCity location and and am unfamiliar with their ordering process. The older lady was just very unfriendly with the way she greeted me and snarly when I said what I wanted instead of the number..again I’ve never been here. Maybe she’s an awesome person and I was easily offended but reading the negative reviews about the older people being rude I don’t think I was outta line for walking out. I can see bei

Just moved here a d was looking for a good sub place. Always leary about chains. I was extremely suprised by Sub City. The menu was simple and prices looked fair before I chose to try this place. Entering it was a simple straight forward kind of place. Nothing out of thr ordinary and nothing special looking. But it smelled great and was immediately greated by the staff. The staff were very quick and efficient as far as taking and making my order. The sub was beyond anything I expected. It was huge! Truly generous serving of meats and toppings. so my mom raved about sub city so we thought we we try it while working in waterloo we ordered 1 footlong steak on wheat had them put veg. on half with mustard other half plain and got charged 17.16 cash instead of footlong at 13.95 and second sandwitch was a #25 6 inch and it was fine food and service was great but probably will not come back due to pricing of steak sandwitch i eat a fair amount of subs and never been charged like this before only if different kind of bread or sandwitch not toppings
