Nick's Roast Beef

Roast beef and pastrami was the best I had in years. Well seasoned, melt in your mouth! It was worth the drive and we took food back to 6 people in Northern Virginia. At least 2 if them have visited Nick's before. I'll definitely go back the next time I'm in Boston or Martha's Vineyard. Oh, and their special barbecue sauce was on point too! I see why they won so many awards. The medium sandwich was huge so the large has to be packed with meat. The picture is the small sandwich.

This was my second time at Nick's. The first time I didn't appreciate that you really needed to order condiments for the roast beef sandwhich to pop. This time I added onions, sauce and cheese and it was quite good, although very messy. The chicken fingers and fries were also good. No problem parking and service was quick.

I have been going to Nick’s Roast Beef since high school. The last time I ordered my usual, a large beef with cheese and extra sauce and I was very disappointed. The beef was not rare and the sandwich was dry. I wouldn’t consider what I received as even having enough sauce for a regular sauce order much less an extra sauce order. The order was to go so I was left eating a very dry sandwich. There are better North Shore Beef options.

I was expecting a bigger sandwhich for the money. It was more bun than meat. The pizza roll could have been cooked a little longer. Dont sleep on the onion rings, cooked perfectly and taste was exceptional.
