Visiting Walt's is like stepping into a time machine and going back to when places like this were actually great. They've recently redone the outside plaza that Walt's lives inside of, but charmingly enough they still have the same drive thru menu board I can remember looking at as a kid from the back seat of my mom's car. Thank God for Walt’s 💜 classic nostalgia. Delicious and the prices are more than fair. Singular and inimitable. Wish I could invest in them. The bun, the fries, the beef! Their other options like the thanksgiving sandwich or the grilled ham and cheese are also dependably delicious.

Haven't been to a Walt's Roast beef in 8 years. Came back to RI from Florida and was very disappointed with the Bald Hill Rd., Warwick location has serious sewer/water issues. The inside of the restaurant has a very strong sewer smell that hit you in the face as you walk in the door. The food and service we received were really good, but the smell was very off-putting 😝 The North Kingstown location is definitely closed permanently and online says it's still open/operational. Management needs to step up and get Walt's Roast beef back to one of RI's takeout favorites. Ty
