My family is always on lookout for authentic German food for a reminder of my childhood in Germany and German family meals. This place really delivers authentic German food at a great price. I've been at other similar restaurants with double the price. Food was great with perhaps smaller portions, but the price point is great. The food was authentic. Schnitzel were great and served hot, red cabbage very close to my mom's taste, Bierock stuffed and cooked hot. I enjoyed the German Bier on tap with traditional Maß available. The sauerkraut balls were delicious since it was rich in flavor and crispy. The jagerschnitzel was also delicious, crispy, and the portions were decent. The peach German-style cheesecake special was not too sweet at all and they seem to make desserts in-house unlike many other restaurants. There's even a small store that I should've checked out more, and it was decorated like an old-world restaurant. Overall, I would go back to this restaurant again.

I had originally ate here when they were at their former location on Central in the train carts years back and it was really good. I came in again today and it was just as good as I remembered. I got the Bierock meal with the German potato salad and also the pretzels for our appetizer and it extremely good and fresh. Highly recommend this place for some authentic tasting German food at a reasonable cost. They also have a small German market within that is neat.

Cool new location for a long time favorite restaurant. They have heat and AC now. The outdoor area is really nice. I love the Jaeger Schnitzel, spaetzle, and red cabbage. The Bierock is really great and the pommes (fries) are amazing. 🤩 check this place out if you like German food.
