I hate to leave a poor review. I used to love it here- ordered weekly salads for a long time. Things have significantly gone downhill. Significantly. When you order a salad with chicken, the chicken used to be shredded nicely. Now, you get massive chunks. The garlic and honey marinade recipe has changed for the worst. It’s overly sweet, with no garlic taste at all. The worst part is I gave this restaurant a 3rd chance, and the red onions on a cold salad came as strings. Red onions on a salad should be diced. The restaurant's ambiance is beautiful. The pizza was the best I've ever had—the dough and olive oil were excellent. For those who don’t like the strong taste of cheese, it might be a bit overwhelming, but I really enjoyed it. The burger was very tender and delicious, though the fries on the side were just average. My daughter and I had a wonderful post Christmas lunch. Our server was very polite and helpful. The food was delicious. Tables are a bit close together and the cold air came in when the door was opened. But otherwise, highly recommended D'Avolio on Main St., Wmsv🙂
