We tried the egg coffee, and for me, it was just average. If you're not a fan of the flavor or aroma of eggs, this might not be the drink for you. However, the café itself has a wonderful ambience. The creative wall art and unique décor make the place feel charming and artistic, creating a great atmosphere to relax, take photos, and enjoy the overall experience.

I actually discovered this cafe through an AI recommendation while looking for the best egg coffee in the Old Quarter. It was ranked in the top five, though funnily enough, once I arrived, the house specialties were actually salted coffee and coconut coffee, not egg coffee. I decided to go with the recommendation and ordered the salted coffee. The most unique thing about this place was the notes. There were handwritten messages covering every available surface—tables, walls, stairs, ceilings, and corridors. They provide stickers and pens so guests can write their own messages and stick them wherever they like. I arrived around 8 PM and headed to the second floor, which I had all to myself. It felt a bit underwhelming at first, mostly because the lighting was quite dim. I’d read reviews mentioning multiple levels, but the stairs leading up looked a bit neglected, so I doubted there was a third floor. However, a waiter eventually came by and told us there were more floors upstairs, so

This spot is note-worthy! 📝 I loved jotting down a memory and sticking it on the wall for posterity. It was quite a heatwave in Hanoi, but thankfully, their big electric fans kept things cool. The service was good. The food and drink is fine thou nothing special. Definitely a sweet memory-maker! 💖✨

What a gem! I was recommended by a friend to visit this cafe and it didn’t disappoint! So many notes plastered on the walls which are very heartwarming to read despite the cold December air in Hanoi. Even some notes are hanging on tree branches 🤓. I took a seat close by a window overlooking a pond, so the air was chilly. I met a Vietnamese grandma who was visiting because she lives in Germany and I had to practice my German for a while which was refreshing and challenging hahaha. Hot chocolate tasted amazing btw.

This Hanoi’s coffee shop is one of the most unique for breakfast. It has six or seven floors, each curated with handwritten reviews. I’m not sure if these are from actual customers over the years. The place has a great vibe, view and taste. It’s a must-visit if you’re looking for a rare café near the lake.

Today I visited The Note Coffee, a small and unique café located near the lake. The place wasn’t too crowded when I went, which made the atmosphere feel even more relaxed and peaceful. From the outside it looks like a normal café, but once you step inside, you immediately notice what makes it special. I ordered a slice of red velvet cake and tiramisu, and both of them were really good. The texture was soft and the flavors were nicely balanced, making it a pleasant little treat while enjoying the view near the lake. However, the café is not really famous because of its food. What truly makes The Note Coffee stand out is the incredible number of colorful sticky notes covering almost every wall, table, and corner of the café. Visitors from all around the world leave little messages, drawings, and memories on these notes. Reading them is actually a fun experience because you get to see messages written in different languages and from people of many different countries. It gives the whol

The Note Coffee in Hanoi is such a charming and memorable place to visit. The café has a cozy, colorful atmosphere filled with handwritten notes from visitors all over the world, which makes it feel warm and personal the moment you walk in. It’s not just a coffee stop — it’s an experience. The drinks were beautifully presented and tasted great, especially the coffee, which was smooth and comforting. It’s the perfect spot to relax, people-watch, and take in the energy of the city from above. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, always smiling and happy to help, which added to the overall positive vibe. If you’re in Hanoi, The Note Coffee is a must-visit. It’s a lovely little place that leaves you with a smile and a good memory long after you leave. ☕✨

This was honestly the coolest cafe in Hanoi. You get to write notes as you are having a nice matcha or coffee. I drew so many things and wrote so many things and stuck them everywhere and you are allowed to do this!!! Do I recommend this place and is it a must do in Hanoi? YES The drinks were ok compared to the actual experience. I felt like my matcha frappe had more ice than the actual matcha itself and it was a bit expensive. Was it worth coming here for the experience of notes? Yes it was. I loved this experience and more businesses need to have cool ideas like this!
