Had a really nice coffee at Drift Bar in Caloundra today. Great spot right by the water with a relaxing vibe and friendly service. The coffee was a bit light for my taste, but still nice and enjoyable. Perfect place to chill and grab a coffee with the beach view.

The food was absolutely amazing. I had the Korean popcorn chicken, the rice bowl, the chicken burger, and the satay skewers, and everything was delicious. Additionally, the staff was very friendly and provided great service. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great meal.

House Crumbed Fish of the day ($29): It’s served with chips, salad, and lemon tartare sauce. The coatings are relatively crispy and the fish tends to have a firm but tender texture. Most importantly, this lemon tartare sauce has got to be one of the best dips I’ve ever had. The chips are delicious but nothing too special. Raspberry Spider ($8): Simply put, it’s soda topped with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, which reminds me of Japanese melon cream soda, highly recommend if you’re Japanese or a fan of this. Not one to leave bad reviews but I have to say, this was the oily-est pasta I have literally ever had. The photo is just some of the oil I poured off onto a spare plate. For $30+ for one meal not including holiday surcharge, this was pretty bad. Only two stars for the beer being cold and the view.
