Silks is always being our community favourite place to celebrate from small occasion dinners, trivia, birthday and Bali night events. We always feel the ambience and the excitement every-time we celebrate our special day at silk. Yesterday, it was my aunty 50th birthday and we were so blessed to get chance and help from Adeesh the duty manager for set up and all of the runners for smooth dinner celebration. I had a great experience at Silks Darwin. The restaurant was very clean, the staff were friendly, and I didn’t have to wait at all to place my order. My meal came out in good time, and I appreciated being able to swap the chips and salad for vegetables — they were fresh and really tasty. The steak was cooked exactly how I like it, which made the whole meal even better. Overall, a very enjoyable visit and I’d happily come back.

Family and extended family have been coming here for a long time. Taken a break due to the drop in food quality. Went back for a birthday on a Saturday (which used to be pumping with patrons). But it was dead. Food has gotten worse. Snapper was tasteless. Skin was soggy. However there was an essence like it hadn’t been cleaned properly. Sauce tasted off. We didn’t say anything initially however when the waitress asked why it hadn’t been eaten or touched we told them. Only for the chef to tell us “that’s how snapper is”. Chicken Kiev was dry. Also told - that’s how it’s supposed to be. Ul
