Don’t be fooled by the lack of signage! Head into the building, down the stairs and turn right, entering the secure door. This is a seated place. I was first thinking it was just a standing bar so I wondered straight in after 9pm at night but was immediately greeted by staff who explained although they were full, he’d happily find us a temporary spot to have a drink until an actual seat became available. If you enjoy tiki-style cocktails as much as I do, you’ll have to visit this tropical rum bar in Sydney! This bar is located in the basement, just below Old Mate’s Place, another popular bar by the same people. Stepping into this bar truly transported us to the Caribbean, everything about the decor and the vibes were 😮‍💨 🍍 𝐁𝐚𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐚 𝐌𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐜𝐢𝐭𝐚 - AUD24 This herby hairdo made the cocktail really fun and endearing. The drink itself was their rendition of a pina colada with the addition of coffee liqueur, spiced tequila and spiced pineapple syrup. Tropical and really easy to drink 🍾
