My 11year old and I are notorious Sacher cake connoisseurs and admittedly followed TripAdvisor to just find out that the top recommendation was closed at our first visit and didn’t had Sacher at our second. Out of frustration we checked for alternatives and found „Wolfi‘s“ as it was recommended too but is located a bit outside the city center… We had the Sacher -two pieces each of course… 😋, as well as the Rübli, the Blackforest Cherry and the Strawberry. had their sachertorte for take away and ate it in the park nearby. moist, lovely apricot jam layers and not too sweet! would love to try their other cakes. lady at the cashier was also very nice despite the language barrier

Loved the place, someone said they were surprised the coffee was machine made, not sure they actually walked inside as it's right there in the main room. It's not a coffee house but a confectionary their specialty are cakes and chocolates. We don't speak any German and I'm Hispanic so I don't look native at all, the staff was very friendly and didn't rush us, we saw quite a lot of locals in the place. They are the original creators of the Mozart chocolates. Had a great time.
