The hostel was very nice, not too big and not too small. There is a restaurant downstairs with a great seating area. The rooms were nice, and the beds were very comfortable. The bathrooms were exceptionally clean. The view from the hostel was outstanding and exceeded my expectations. The staff were very welcoming, friendly, and helpful throughout my stay. I highly recommend staying here.

One of the best snitzel and cheese spaetzel we had in the area. Even our picky kids love them. Beautiful view as we dined. The hike up is worth it, not too long of hike. Fast and friendly service. Went there after visiting Festung Hohensalzburg.

Despite notifying them via Booking.com that I am 60 years old and requested appropriate placement, I was assigned a room with dangerously steep and inconvenient stairs to access the bathroom. My safety and pre-arrival requests were completely ignored. ​This property is a series of 'hidden traps': ​No guest kitchen: You are forced to choose between their overpriced restaurant, paying 3 EUR for every single elevator ride, or an exhausting hike up the mountain

This location is a real charm. The views are stunning from the rerrace. We had lunch and were not fully convinced though, maybe better for drings or coffee and cake.
