Very good view from the place, with good-quality food and very kind staff. There are options for vegetarians and vegans and the staff is really nice and quick. Menus in English are available. A bit on the pricy side considering the size of portions, but then again it’s good quality so it was worth it I would argue. I would overall recommend.

Spent a week in Vienna and this is the best restaurant for food, price, service and atmosphere. The location is very nice, it’s down a quiet street, away from the tourist zone and across from a nice church. I came here twice and had the roast beef and the schnitzel as well as the apple strudel and chocolate cake. All exceptional. Staff are very friendly. Can’t recommend this place more. Don’t waste your time at the tourist traps.. this place is a gem. They are closed I think on the weekend and I visited on a Wednesday Thursday and was not required to have a reservation.

The view alone is worth every penny. Particularly enjoyable is how quiet this nook is. I direly needed a break from the crowds of the old town and found this oasis here. The muted earth-tone decor is soothing. Even more so is the hearty food and the warmth of the waiting staff. No pomp or grandeur, and it offers the best kind of recharge for my body and mind.
