Galeteria Da Vinci was one of the first “gelato” shops in Brugges, if not the first. Sylvia honed her craft in Italy bringing her equipment with her over 30 years ago. We’ve have been coming here since the day she opened. The flavours are always enjoyable. Sylvia’s passion comes through every time. Her staff are lovely and always friendly. Don’t bother with the other tourist trap places that now litter the old city. If you’re looking for a sweet treat or a decent coffee this is the place.

I'm jealous of europeans who get to experience high quality desserts for amazing prices. I'm Canadian and my Pistachio cone came to $4.16 CAD which included the fx transaction fee. The dessert was perfectly creamy and the right amount of sweet. It was the perfect treat while taking a quick break from exploring Bruges. Service was welcoming, friendly and quick despite the amount of customers they had to triage. Note: They don't take AmEx.
