I ordered wings with a side salad. The vegetables were fresh. The salad was impressive. The wings were so good so much so they can give The Portly Piper a go for #1 wings. The New York, New York steak dinner with mash and veg was so good. 5x the cut of meat I had at The Keg this week. The Keg prime rib dinner was so sad compared to Magwyers New Yorker, at less than half the price. Worth a visit. Peter and Amanda were such great servers. Personable experience with great food.

Walked in for an early dinner and found a nearly empty spot except a few regulars sidled up to the bar, they checked us, we checked them, you know the spot. We were seated and handed an extensive menu and I went right to some meat and potatoes. Had the meatloaf and was super happy about it. My friends had a quesadilla and it was surprising just how huge it was for less than 20 bucks! Prices and drinks and likely the best value I had seen in a long time. My other friend had the pot pie and said it was delicious, just wished there was maybe a bottom crust as well to soak up the gravy. Well done

Enjoyed our visit to Magwyers pub. Our server was very friendly and did not keep us waiting on anything. We were immediately greeted and seated as soon as we walked in. The meals were very good and they have an extensive menu for all tastes, as well as standard pub fair. Our meals were hot and came in a timely manner. The beer was cold and they had a good selection, as well as cocktails and wines.
