While the food is very good, the price is average and the service is great. The place is a little run down. I’ve been here many times over the years, even as a child with my mom. She lived this place. However, today I went into the bathroom and it was a disaster. Toilets were disgusting and the toilet bowl brush was on the vanity next to the sink! Makes me wonder what the kitchen looks like?

There is a reason this place is packed most mornings. Gourmet? No. Solid delicious Canadian style breakfasts at a very reasonable price, combined with fantastic service and friendly staff. YES! I use the phrases "greasy spoon" and "joint" in the most loving way. I love joints like this!

Always great fast service even when busy. Had a very poor hot turkey sandwich, it was heavily salted so only ate the turkey, their excuse was gravy comes in that way. Potato soup was also too salty to eat.
