A hidden gem and a truly unique spot—this is the only Czech restaurant still standing in Quebec, and you can feel how special it is the moment you walk in. The food is delicious and the portions are generous. We started with the soup of the day (a vegetable soup) and the soupe aux tripes, which was richer and creamier—both were excellent. For mains, we had the poulet braisé au cari and the goulache au bœuf, and they were full of flavor and perfectly cooked. If you want to have an experience of czech food, at a really affordable price, this is the place to go. Miloš and his lovely wife take care of you as if you were in their private home. The atmosphere is as if you were transposed to a small cottage in the Alps, or the region of Krkonoše. Have duck, or another traditional meal, you'll want to come back for more.
