We have had breakfast here a few times over the years and always busy. Dropped in for an early dinner, very quiet and meal was ok - with inflation kicking in so portions seemed slightly smaller compared to others photos. I ordered a grilled chicken burger with salad, tasty but the chicken portion was tiny, my husband said the burger was ok nothing special and definitely not a high quality all beef patty. I went there with my friend for lunch for her retirement. It had been a while since I had come. I ordered a clubhouse sandwich without the middle piece of bread as I always find it’s just too much bread. I understand that the sandwich isn’t going to be as thick without the middle bread but I think they went out of their way to put as little amount of ingredients as they possibly could. Well, quite honestly I have never eaten anything so unappealing in a very long time. We arrived pretty excited to try out this diner, as I'm all about diners & the hopefully Monte Cristo sandwiches they possibly have on their menu. When I found out they did serve Monte Cristo's here, I was so excited & decided to drive all the way out, 1 hour to give it a shot. The 1st impressions were this place is awesome, but then reality set in. Only 1 waitress for whole restaurant. Many dirty tables left untidy because waitress was MIA most of time & didn't clean them for the whole time we were there

It’s my kind of place . Very vintage and classic diner serving lower mainland for decades. Quick and delicious breakfast and brunch sandwiches available . Dine or take out it’s your call. Some days there is live event / show in house so enquire about it when you are there. I love the vibe of it’s so I come back again and again. Shakes is also a must try.
