Haligone★★★★★Very creative and well thought out toppings to balance the flavours on the pizzas. The pies are around $30 each, but the size for that price is reasonable. I was very happy with the amount of food. The Suppli (which is like a finger-food version of an arancini) was very flavourful. A definite reccomend. My only criticism would be that I would prefer the crust to have a little more chewiness, but that's just personal preference. The sesame in the crust was a nice touch It's a popular restaurant. H Young★★★★★I had wanted to visit this place for over a year, and on this trip to Halifax I finally got the chance and it absolutely lived up to the hype. As someone who considers themselves a bit of a pizza connoisseur, I was impressed by every aspect of the pizza. The crust was perfectly thin with just the right amount of puff around the edge, beautifully browned and full of flavor. The toppings were fresh, creative, and delicious, with combinations that felt thoughtful and balanced. The pizzas are an ideal size, whether you’re ordering your own or sharing a few with the table. Service was excellent, at
laura frederick★★★★★So happy with our experience this evening at Lou Pecou! I’ve been looking forward to this reservation for months and it did not disappoint. The Suppli appetizer was fantastic, the dipping sauce was so good we kept it to dip our pizza crust in. My partner got the a breakfast style pizza and I got a mushroom pizza, both were absolutely fantastic. You can definitely tell that all the components of the pizza are very well thought out, the handmade crust is fantastic and the ingredients are very fresh. The dessert Tiramisu was phenomenal. Already looking forward to our next visit. I’m usually a pas
bob graham★★★★★Atmosphere is great. It’s a quaint venue with Italian flair. Service from beginning to end was top shelf. Our server Sara was easy to speak to and provided recommendations that were very much on point. We had the Gnocchi and Lou Fada Pizza and both were outstanding. Highly recommend if you want authentic Italian food with great service, you need to make this a stop when in Halifax.
