Recently tried out Reader's Garden Cafe! It's beautiful, a lovely maintained historical building, bright and open spaces, great staff, and ambiance. The garden itself is just starting to bloom and I love the pathways but I recommend sturdy shoes, small heels may get stuck! I had the Chef's daily special with salad and an elderberry spritz (homemade lemonade). The spritz was nice and sour with a good flavour, I just wish there was a tad less ice. The Chefs special was a Quiche Florentine, and it was delicious. The swiss cheese was really noticeable and the quiche nicely done. The salad was in

The atmosphere is wonderful, with a beautiful design and style. It's a lovely place surrounded by plenty of greenery and flowers, almost in the city center. Everything is clean and well maintained. Why only three stars? From the moment we arrived until our food was served, we waited 50 minutes. In my opinion, that is too long for a venue of this level. Anna was fantastic! Me and my friends ordered a full course together, and she handled everything with an impressive mix of professionalism, organization, and good humor. Even during a busy shift, she stayed calm, friendly, and attentive, making sure everyone at the table was taken care of. The food was excellent as wel, the Bison Shepherd's Pie was especially memorable. It was rich, flavorful, and easily one of the highlights of the meal. Great service can make a good cafe experience into a great one, and Anna definitely did that for us. Reader's Garden Café is lucky to have her. Thanks agai

I'm very certain the orange juice was just Sunny D. The latte tasted like a watered down Americano with milk, I finished mine because I'm not too picky coffee wise, but my brunch partner took one sip and didn't touch it. The pastries were quite good. French toast was edible, not special, would not eat again. However the shepherd's pie, which was about $30, was about the length of my hand -- which I can understand if it's a darn good pie, but
