Friday night, my boyfriend took me to the Chinese Restaurant downtown Lethbridge. The restaurant called New Dynasty Restaurant, which is located on 7th St South Lethbridge right beside the Galts Garden. It was my first time came to this restaurant. We’ve been there around 5:30 pm. The restaurant was not busy at all. We got a table directly. It is very medium/large restaurant. The servers here are mostly White People, which is very different from Chinese Restaurant in Vancouver. All the tables were very organized in the restaurant. Terrible foods. We order dinner for three. Says chicken fried noodles, chicken fried rice and deep fried shrimps and chicken. The noodles were very soft. I don't know what kind of noodle was. Both noodles and rice has no flavour what so ever. The other deep fried food had too much flours outside coating. They are no Chinese food taste at all.

We had a family group of 30 come in tonight and really enjoyed the room and service that was provided for us. The food tasted amazing too. My reason for a three star rating though: - The portion sizes were small for the price we paid. $20 dollars for a REALLY small plate of fried squid, and an extra $6 charge to make a small substitution on a dinner combo - The waitress did really well handling our large group, but was actually quite rude when it came to tipping her and was actually harassing us for tips. I found this totally uncalled for, since there was 30 of us, and she received lots of tip

My best friend and i have been going here for years after every hair appointment we both live out of town, its our tradition. Food is always delicious and the owner and his wife (main waitress) are friendly and welcoming every visit. Fast service, great staff, fresh flavorful dishes! I definitely recommend!!!
