The dolmas were incredible! They came hot with tomatoes and onions. There was so much flavor in such a small dish. The makhlama was excellent, too. The cheese went very well with the the other flavors in the kunafa along with just the right amount of toasting on top. What was even better than the food were the people. The chef, Abdullah, introduced himself along with the other other two owners, Hussein and Mohammed, all of whom are from Iraq. They not only explained their backgrounds and culinary training but were so friendly and made me feel very welcome.
