Had a wonderful meal at Le Michel’s in Bordeaux. I started with the Soupe à l’oignon luthée, which was rich, comforting, and packed with flavor, topped with a generous layer of melted cheese. For the main course, I had the Confit de Canard, which was perfectly cooked with crispy skin and tender, flavorful meat. One of the highlights of the meal was the Camembert rôti au miel et thym. I had a wonderful experience at Le Michel’s during our time in Bordeaux. Perfectly located in the heart of the old town, it has that lively, authentic bistrot atmosphere you hope to find when visiting the city. • We sat outside on the colorful patio, which made for great people watching and a relaxed, vibrant lunch setting. I came here based on a recommendation from a friend. I had escargot for starters which were tasty but smaller than ones I'd had in the past. For mains I had the bavette steak which was cooked well with house frites. Would recommend if visiting to sit outside as there's a better atmosphere than inside on the ground floor. Also the trading hours are mainly for bar service, kitchen for dinner doesn't open until 7pm.

Very good food! Would recommend! Confit du Canard and bouef bourguignon were our favourites - super tasty and tender. Onion soup was good, but nothing special, mostly considering the price. Overall would recommend and come back!
