Wonderful. Celebrated my birthday today and as usual the staff were so friendly, our favourite food .goyoza starter, lames de tigre (weeping tiger) a thai steak( rare ) with a proper chilli dipping sauce (we like spicy a lot ) just absolutely perfect and cafe gourmand to finish with a birthday candle and song . All of their varied menu is good and a lovely atmosphere to add to your enjoyment . Thank you all of the Face team for making my 71st birthday a memorable one .

Cafe Face is one of those places you certainly want to visit if you’re looking for coffee or a good lunch. The food is reasonably priced and the service is exceptional. Great atmosphere. It’s located on the town square where many of the events take place in Châteauroux. So you are certainly in the middle of the Saturday market crowd.

Busy, buzzing, brilliant. Friendly staff. The lentils with poached egg as a starter was a revelation; utterly delicious and a local product we've been meaning to try for years. The duck with sauteed potatoes was elevated with a delicious creamy mushroom sauce. It went very well with the Chinon, a local red wine. There was a potential disaster - they ran out of bread - but don't worry, someone had been dispatched to the bakers! Delicious, crusty, fluffy, perfect baguette with which to mop up the sauce. Ahhhh.
