We visited here on a Sunday evening after travelling. Our aim was to experience some traditional fine French cuisine. Having worked in the restaurant business for some years, I am happy to share with you my findings. First Impressions:- We pre-booked our table and on arrival we were asked whether our preference was to sit inside or outside. This big restaurant is situated right in the heart of Dijon at the beautiful Place de la Libération. Le Pré aux Clercs has a nice big terrace to enjoy on sunny days. We sat inside this bustling restaurant that clearly is well equipped to accommodate large groups of people. We went for the three course menu. At a price of 39 euros, this was a great deal. The service was friendly and very efficient. We liked the food. Although the tuna could have been a bit bigger and was too oily to our taste. Price quality this is a very good place to eat.

A beautiful meal in a relaxed atmosphere in a stunning location. Sebastian and his team were professional and friendly and we had a lovely meal that was beautifully prepared - having stayed in Vonnas many years ago, we were curious to see what the brasserie offering would be like - the answer is scrumptious! Edit - revisited: Came back to Dijon after a year - and came back to this restaurant as well. We enjoyed it very much last time and decided to come back. Made a reservation online for an outside table. And good so: Because it was fully booked outside - and our table was waiting for us. Service again as last time was really caring, helpful and friendly. Our Bulldog was welcome here too. Had the Le Carpaccio de Sériole and the Burrata dish for starters. Both excellent.
