This is a nice cafe to stop by if you are walking along the shopping street of Avenue de Frères Lumière... There are a few bakeries along the street but Columbus is the only one with seats inside. I love their coffee, even the "petit" Americano is quite a generous amount! ☕ The staff was friendly and we saw a few people using the cafe as a co-working space, which is nice and calm.

Our morning coffee stop every day during our visit to Lyon. The staff were patient with me as I tried to interact completely in French, which I really appreciate! (Helped it wasn't super busy.) Good coffee, milk options (Soy, oat milk) nice outdoor seating area.

My husband is from Lyon, and we are currently visiting my in laws (I am from the US). I know only some places serve ice coffee, and I am a massive fan of that back home. My brother in law mentioned to check this place out, and I am so glad that I did! It’s very cute, and the woman at the front was so sweet and helpful. We sat in the very back, and it was comfortable. We shared a donut, and the biggest coffee size was perfect (and delish)! I’m sad I don’t have this place back home, as I think the prices were fair. Everything was really good the drinks, the muffin, and the small slice of pecan tart were all tasty. The only downside was that it was a bit hot inside; I wish the air conditioning had been working. But overall, I enjoyed it!
