I decided to have dinner here while solo travelling through Nîme. It was a pleasant atmosphere sitting outside at one of the high tables. For entree I tried brandade de morue. For the main course, I had the “suggestion” of the day: pork tenderloin skewer in a peppers sauce, with zucchini and semolina. Food is delicious and good value. Service was super friendly. I couldn’t speak French and the waiter couldn’t speak English, but somehow we communicated with no problem.

On a student trip, we had a free evening for dinner. After wandering through the beautiful streets of Nimes, we chanced upon this quaint and lovely restaurant with outdoor seating. The food was amazing and so fresh. We had a tomato buratta salad, another traditional Nimes salad, steak tartar, and frites. Also wine of course. The servers were friendly and it was just the most enjoyable, relaxed evening. Highly highly recommend :)

Small restaurant with a short menu of salads, french classics and a few tapas. The food was good and fresh. The tartar was great, the salades generous and the fries home made and tasty. Seating outside in the small street in the shade was very confortable.
