We waited more than an hour to get our food for a table we had reserved. The food was ok, not good not bad but definetly not worth the wait. The pastrami tasted nice but I feel the quantity was very low for the price (refer to picture to decide). The pancakes were ok but not extraordinary. Amazing food and very polite staff. My husband and I ordered New York and Eggs Benedict toasts, everything was very tasty. For dessert we shared an Apple Crumble pancake and I highly recommend it! I drank the smoothie Yellow and the Matcha with strawberry. The smoothie was my favorite, I loved the taste of tropical fruits, and now I want to try the other smoothies :) I recommend Base to everyone who wants to try new flavors in Aachen 🩵

As a lover of coffee and a good Sunday brunch, I’m so happy Base coffee opened a new location in Aachen. The Malibu passion bowl is my new go to, it was well presented and the granola and coconut mix ….10stars. I’d definitely give the pastrami sandwich or the New York grilled cheese a try if you’re looking for something a bit more filling, it looked very appetising from a distance. I really enjoyed the apple crumble pancake, there’s something about cinnamon and sweet cream that puts me in a good mood. I also loved how up beat the music was, very different from most coffee places in Aachen. C
