Yard Coffee is easily the best café in Augsburg, and it’s not even close. Their cakes are honestly something else. Everything tastes amazing, and if you take something to go, they pack it up really nicely and with care, which I always appreciate. The coffee is consistently great. It’s one of those places where you just know it will be good every time. They also sell beans from Wildkaffee and JB, including decaf, which is a big plus. And the people there are just super friendly. I always leave in a better mood than I came in. Can’t recommend it enough.

I visited in a snowy Saturday afternoon, with the place being truly packed. However, the staff made their best to accomodate me inside, in the counter. Lucky me, as I could enjoy a really cozy and warm coffee stop. The seating area inside is small, but not uncomfortable. You are able to observe the hectic barista action from any angle, and everything is handled quickly but smoothly. There is also a wide outdoor area, covered for rainy days. I ordered a flat white and an attractive apple pudding. The flat white was perfectly executed, and tasted nicely. I learnt that the offer decaf option as

Very nice place and delicious coffe. Friendly staff. You can enjoy card games or there are a few books on coffe next to window seat that have many information on coffee. The gross coppucino coffe is really gross and served in glass cup . That is another thing I really liked Will visit again when in Augsburg for sure.

Great cafe nicely decorated. Lots of images of Bertold Brecht. Friendly service and good cafe. Cakes also looked great but I was full.
