The beer was excellent, and the food was delicious. No complaints there. However, one thing surprised my friend: you may be seated at a shared table with strangers. This is common in Germany and didn't bother me at all, but my friend almost left because of it. If you're an American traveler who values private seating, just be aware of this cultural difference beforehand. That said, the food truly was great. Just go knowing what to expect.
