Acid Mitte

ACID Mitte is a cute and stylish bakery with a beautiful, minimalist interior. I really loved the overall vibe. The pastries and breads feel like little pieces of art. I tried the Kardamom Bullar. At €4.50 it was quite small, but incredibly delicious. It was crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and the cardamom flavor was perfectly balanced. A nice touch is the free water you can help yourself to. The only downside was the staff, who seemed a bit unmotivated and not very friendly. Overall, a great spot for high-quality pastries, even if it’s on the pricier side.

The cardamon bun was the best I’ve ever had. The coffee is amazing too, proper specialty coffee! It gets crowded and it sometimes is a bit harder to get a table. If you seat outside they give your stuff to-go, which we didn’t like too much.

I find Acid very friendly and cozy and they serve great coffee! I was staying for work in Berlin for a few days and it was my go-to spot but it is also one of the favourites by the locals. Service is fast and friendly, after coming for a 3rd day in a row I felt already like a buddy. My favourite pastries are Babka and Cardamon bus, Cheesecake is also great. I’ve been there for both take-away and sitting in. They also have great playlists and a cool spot to watch people, meet with friends or do some writing or reading. I’d come here again to eat their pain au chocolat . The interior is very modern and they’ve special coffee and tea menu. Although I usually don’t drink filter coffee, I can recommend theirs! This place is extremely full on the weekends, so I’d recommend coming on weekdays :)
