We had some very nice time at this bistrot after spending some time at the park. Place is cozy and friendly, food was very tasty. Wanted to taste something German so I opted for the meatballs with an amazing French sauce, the spinach rolls were also their forte. Lasagna was tasty and not too heavy. Last but worth mentioning the cakes: I couldn’t pick only one so I tasted four and I’d say my favorites were the carrot cake and the crumbles (cherry and apple) with whipped cream. Definitely recommended!!

Do you need 5* food to want to return to a place? Not me. Im as ready to return as an aged President. The food here is a solid 4.4*. The spinach boulletten were very well put together with a great sauce. The salad was very much the runner-up, with none of the zip or spunk of its crafted main feature. The service is attentive and personal, but very Berlin (you'll know what i mean if you're local)...and the cakes look smashable, but not tested. I'd certainly return if in the area to puck up my wald königsberg marzipan fix down the road.

I’ve been coming here for some years, and even with the recent change in ownership and management this cafe is still a great option in this corner of Charlottenburg. Located on a street corner blessed with extreme long sunshine, it’s the perfect place to sit in the terrace for a drink or a coffee and cake, wether baking in the sun or cuddles in a blanket, hoping the last rays of fall or the first of spring will warm our bones. Unfortunately, the ventilation inside is very poor, so the heavier cooking tends to upset the air, filling it with fumes, making sitting inside a smelly experience. Al
