I LOVED this place! My son, granddaughter, and I were in need of food mid-afternoon, and were surprised to learn that this restaurant was open for us at 3:30. I was immediately impressed with the dining environment at Marinella. Though the outdoor seating was inviting, we elected to eat indoors. The front dining room was calming and set well with cloth table accessories and very comfortable seats. The decor was very appealing to me. Our server, Claudio, was very pleasant and helpful. The food was very good, as was the wine! The quality and friendliness of the service seemed to depend on who was being served. I walked into the restaurant to meet friends who'd made a reservation for us. The restaurant was full and a bit too warm. Although multiple staff members looked directly at me and I made eye-contact with each, no one greeted me or indicated that they would be with me shortly. The garlic soup was insanely tasty but everything else was okay. Tried 3 pastas, the carbonara, aglio olio and the shrimp flambé one in the Parmigiano cheese wheel, sadly they all were underwhelming. Nothing bad, but nothing spectacular either. I would go again to try their pizza tho bc they brought us a complimentary appetiser in the beginning with pizza dough which was delicious. Overall the experience was nice since the place and the service were fun and welcoming so maybe getting sth else from the menu is the trick
