The word "Taverna" could not be more fitting for this warm and welcoming place. We went there for easter lunch, surrounded by the laughter of friends and the comforting embrace of a place that feels like home. A procession of delicious Greek startes arrived at the table .. accompanied by the irresistible aroma of freshly baked bread ..still warm ..and the rich taste of wine that seems to carry whispers from thr land of Olympus and its ancient myths. The hosts welcomed us with genuine smiles and heartfelt kindness..making is feel not like guests bit like family. Time slowed down and everything

🇫🇷 🇩🇪Berlin, Sunday, 8-MAR-2026 KLEOMENIS ASTOR - I am a regular client - i eat there 4 or 5 times per month. Tonight I had Mousaka (a large portion) - Spanakopitakia (spinach and feta cheese in a filo pastry- baked crisp and golden) and Tzatziki - along with 3 Uzo shots and 1 glass of Sprite. I wanted dessert, but i was full and couldn't eat any more. So dessert, next time!. As always, the food was delicious, I loved the music and the service was first class. No matter what other restaurants I go to in Berlin, I keep coming to Achilles Taverna. 5 STARS - Recommended by me, Kleomenis Astor

We had a family reunion of sorts here. We all love Greek food and we were celebrating a birthday. Our waiter was excellent. He was attentive without being overbearing. We had an excellent time and were there for several hours. Uzo shots were of course plenty. All 6 of us thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. If you haven’t been, you should go. If you have been, then go back. We know ow we will.
