Mogogo is an absolute gem. The Eritrean food is delicious — rich, flavorful, and unlike anything else in Karlsruhe. But what really made our visit special was the service. One of the waiters had taken the time to learn a few words in Albanian to make us feel welcome — that kind of genuine warmth and effort is rare and does not go unnoticed. You can tell this place cares about its guests. Highly recommend to anyone looking for something truly special, both on the plate and in the atmosphere.

My expectations for this restaurant was high with the reviews. After being there and meeting the staff and having the food, I should say it was not even being valued enough in the comments. Super friendly staff, delicious food with a good quantity, tasty beers and a beautiful chill place to spend a Friday night with friends. Only if they bring a lot of bread at the beginning it would be awesome. Because the food was amazing and we kept asking them for more bread to eat it with! 😁 It became one of my favourite places in Karlsruhe for sure!

One of the best Eritrean restaurants. And having been to places all around the world, I mean worldwide. Of course the service is not always 100% as it is a family owned, low staff restaurant. But the food is unbeatable...since 1988. Always a delight!!!
