We've always eaten here whenever we've been to Cologne. Today was the last time. We feel ripped off. We were charged €107 for three meals (schnitzel, currywurst, and Himmel und Ääd), five Kölsch beers, and two Fantas. That's steep, and impossible to verify since we weren't given a menu. On our way out, we saw that the schnitzel was supposed to cost €18.90. Based on that, we would have spent about €50 on drinks. That can't be right.

Absolutely awful. Despite having a reservation, we were herded into the cold basement for dinner and then received no service whatsoever. The menu was like something you'd find at a fast-food joint. And ladies, please don't use the restroom. The stench is absolutely disgusting. One star is too generous. Never again. I absolutely cannot understand the good reviews here. 👎

A true Cologne pub. Top-notch service. Carnival spirit and good vibes all year round. Good, traditional German cuisine! And a great party cellar for events.
