Perhaps going to many different German and Austrian eateries over the past several weeks of “just ok” dining lead to a great dining experience at Der Pschorr or we were just hungry. We’d likely say both of these reasons. The food was really good, the beer was great, and the service and atmosphere was spot on. We’ll likely return if given the chance.

Wandering around the downtown Munich area and found this large Resturant on the outside area of what looks to be an outside market. It was very busy and we decided to have dinner. Looking close to the menu they offered smaller portions for a small reduction in price. Best idea as we were not in the mood for a large meal. We started with the asparagus soup. Then got the Cheesy Spaetzle and Spicy Sausage with potatoes and Ham infused sauerkraut. Yummy on all accounts.

Very popular restaurant with lots of guests. The food was delicious and came out quickly. I especially loved the pork knuckle — crispy outside and tender inside. Friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommend Der Pschorr for authentic Bavarian food!
