Lovely building. Great customer service. I felt very welcome and at ease by the one overworked but very smiley lady 👌🏽💪🏽 Food Was great. Lunchtime are literally unbelievably low for the excellent quality of food. And the salad bar is not big, but it is delicious. And healthy! Beer prices also cheap. We stopped there for lunch and were served a very delicious and generous meal, along with a substantial salad bar. All this at a truly very reasonable price. Add to that the beautiful view directly overlooking the Erft River and a very friendly, attentive, and cheerful waitress who clearly enjoyed her work and knew how to share that enthusiasm with the guests. That made the already excellent food taste even better. I've also never seen such a beautiful salad garnish, braided into a bouquet, at a lunch table before. The old boathouse is a typical beer garden with unbeatable prices. The beer garden is idyllically situated on the Erft River. We were there on May 1st and discovered we weren't the only ones. Unfortunately, the drinks service was overwhelmed, and the queue at the self-service counter was around 20-30 minutes long. However, you could get draft beer and other drinks at unbeatable prices. Pilsner 0.3l for €2.60, Wheat beer 0.5l for €5.10, Fries, bratwurst, and salad for €6.80. It's worth the wait. The location is exceptionally beautiful, perfect for a bike ride.
