The food at Mai Garden Offenburg was really great — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. I especially enjoyed the variety on the menu and the attention to detail in the dishes. Unfortunately, the service didn’t match the quality of the food. I visited around 3 PM and was the only customer at the time. Despite that, the staff seemed more focused on chatting among themselves than attending to me. I had to wait and look around several times just to get their attention. Nice food, environment and excellent service. The place is super clean and offers balanced plates of sushi, fish, meat and vegan options nicely decorated and with interesting ingredients like kumquat used. The prices are to the expensive side but so is the size of the portions and quality.

Food tasted really good to the opinion of my parents and me. The grilled chicken was soft, had flavour and was not burned. They are really observant to see if you are ready to order. And the order was delivered quickly and the restaurant was near full. We didn't make a reservation but perhaps it can be advisable if you want to make sure to have a seat

Quite normal for having Japanese and Vietnamese food in the same restaurant here in Germany which is quite odd to us. I guess this restaurant may popular among local because I almost couldn't have dinner here. All tables were reserved. However a staff was quite smart asking me that he can offer a table for us but we have to finish it within an hour and leave by 7 PM. I said "deal"... Smart staff, isn't he.
