I used to go here often as it's close to my place and I liked the big tables. I feel like recently the quality of service has dropped significantly. I ordered a coffee. I used to be able to pay by card, but now they are only accepting cash on smaller orders, so I paid with a two euro coin and some 5, 2, and 1 cent coins as that was all the cash I had on me. Then the guy threw the cents on the counter towards me and in a very derogatory tone said "Was ist das?". That's a new customer service low for Germany. I am not going in here again. I visited in the evening and it was a very nice ambiance with not too many people around. Friendly staff. Delicious hand cooked fries.

We went at 8:30 and ordered breakfast. Waited for 40 minutes for the food. There was only one server whom when asked about our order, after 30-min waiting, said without care that “your food will come when it’s ready”. Then after that he also forgot our bread. The 4.7 rating was really really overrated. The food was so so. Nothing special here.

Snobby place, with pretentious prices for the state that it is in, just because a location is old and covered on spiderwebs, it doesn't mean is vintage or bohemian, the kitchen is slow and the staff seems untrained. Even the lasagne a dish that is clearly not cooked fresh was served cold, but at least the chef got his coffee and flirt on with the staff while my order was being "cooked."
