This place was amazing, as you can experience a special German dish with a special atmosphere in an old building with an interesting history. The food was delicious, the man serving the food was friendly and could speak English very well.

Stopped because of the house architecture. Smart idea to put the menu outside for display. They had 2 choices: 13.50 euros or 18.50 euros. I chose the 13.50 euro menu with soup included and Salat, beside the main course. OK, too much said soup or Salat.... Both portions were really small, but you see them free in the menu so it is an incentive. The main course was perfect, as you got 2 pieces of schnitzels with egg and potatoes. For me it was delicious. I also ordered a beer which got me to a total of 19 euros.

I could not have stumbled upon a better place to eat. Superb lunch, ambience, service and observance of Covid requirements washed down with a couple of excellent Altbiers. I had the Bauernschnitzel with Bratkartoffeln and its salad. The setting is an ancient beamed cornerhouse
