Today, I visited Istanbul Grill with my girlfriend. I ordered the classic durum döner, while my partner chose a falafel wrap. For a €7 falafel wrap, I have to say it was pretty decent—the tzatziki sauce was good, the portion was just right to feel full for a few hours, and the taste was quite satisfying. The fresh vegetables were plentiful, which was a plus. However, while waiting for our order, I noticed the falafel was taken straight from the freezer, which was disappointing. Son took us for a mystery tour, including eating here. Expectations were high but total anticlimax. Food was cold, dry & stringy meat, cold drink cans had mould, workers smoking behind the scenes but smell permeating the dining area etc etc. Total waste and not recommended.
