We had an excellent dinner here with my girlfriend. I came in without a reservation, and we were lucky to be seated. The service was good, and the dishes we picked were marinated beef and pork shank—both dishes were great. The dessert was apple strudel, which was also fantastic. We also had some beet soup, which was very tasty. Highly recommend it! The atmosphere is nice, and the overall experience was excellent.

We had a lovely evening, with great food and very good service from Frank. His humour definitely made us chuckle. Frank gave us suggestions on the food and drinks and we were very happy with everything we had. I’d read that with the Pork Knuckle several people recommended to have more gravy, and Frank delivered me some extra which was definitely necessary and appreciated. I gave Frank the positive feedback regarding offering extra gravy, and it was great to see that when the people ordering the same dish on the next table shortly after us Frank offered them the extra gravy too. We had an amazing experience at Marjellchen and already planning to come back. The service was friendly and impeccable, drink list was excellent, food was likewise absolutely delicious and portions were very generous. The apricot dumplings for dessert and beef liver were the absolute stars.
