We visited this café to meet family for coffee, as they are locals and had recommended the place. Our family arrived before the rest of the group. The man who appeared to be the owner came over several times asking if we were ready to order. Each time, we explained that we were waiting for two more people to join us. During these interactions, he did not smile once and came across as quite impatient, as though he was wondering why we were not ordering straight away and leaving. We love this place, and so do a lot of other people, so reservations are recommended. I have been on the hunt for a restaurant that makes a decent hollandaise sauce for decades and this is the first time I have found one! Their hollandaise is excellent! The food is terrific and the portions are generous. They are happy to modify and to let you order ala carte, which is much appreciated by our group due to food allergies. They are a roasterie, so you can expect really good coffee as well. Fuchs is quickly becoming our home town favorite place to eat and hang out with friends.

Delicious food, but be warned that the hearty dishes are enough to feed 2 people easily. We rolled out of there. Good coffee, probably the best we've had in Germany since leaving Australia. Very helpful and kind service, and has a nice vibe to it.
