Meat lovers, pay attention! I ended up here thanks to the guys at HEATSUPPLY. My expectations were high, but they were fully met! First, it was time to pick out a good beer at the stall right across from them (I believe they’re connected). We went with a delicious, fresh blonde ale. Then came the hard part: choosing the food. If you’re struggling with "choice stress," I highly recommend the mixed platter. It comes with a variety of meats and sauces, plus some great homemade pickles on the side. Big Stuff Smoked BBQ is one of my favorites inside Markthalle Neun! Their pulled pork is incredibly tender and flavorful, with a perfect smoky touch. The staff is friendly and happy to swap out pickles with salad if you ask. For its price, the portions are a bit on the smaller side, but the quality is fantastic. We haven't found anything similar in Berlin, especially for their smoky pulled pork (and chicken, although we didn't have it this time). Definitely recommend checking them out!

I didn’t expect to have good barbecue in Berlin. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of food at Big Stuff. I got a sandwich with a smoky baked potato and mac-and-cheese on the side, and washed it all down a nice Fassbier. My beautiful wife and I were blown away by the service we got from this lovely employee named Joanna. Even if the food was bad, we would go back just for her.

We are in Berlin for a few days on holidays, and I had to come back to Markthalle Neun twice just for the food at Big Stuff! The pork belly sandwich is a dream. The meat was not overly seasoned. While it looked fatty, the texture was so perfect and spot on, you wouldn’t think you are eating pork belly. We also got the small plate with pulled pork, which again was perfect. I don’t normally like beans, but their beans are so flavourful and smoky, I actually ate it. Service is also excellent.
