We spent only one night there, it was a nightmare for me. One thing was that the rooms have very bad isolation, the second was that we were given a room next to a no-class neighbor, who hosted two friends over at his one-bedroom room, and the three chatted loudly with loud music on from 9pm to 2:30am. I heard them clearly next door and had to call the reception twice for aid. The hotel sent someone over at 10:30pm, who knocked on the door and asked them to respect the Ruhezeit, the volume was turned down for a moment and soon resumed loud again and continued. At 2:00am I called reception again

Very good lodging at reasonable price, with the restaurant and pub being one of the locals favourite eateries. Also just outside the Hamburg city's busy centre and still within walking distance of the Elbe river, museums and trainstations.

Sat in the restaurant and was ignored when asking for a menu for them to serve sum one else asked again to be ignored and the people that came in after us was served we are actually staying in the hotel and feel racially discriminated as we are English and as soon as we spoke they ignore is what can you do disgusting, the rooms are dated there is bed springs sticking out and when complaining they don't speak to us only ignore us
