Achel Leonard★★★★Shallot is probably one of the oldest food joints in Tamale as far as I can remember... They've come a long way in serving the people of Tamale both the local dishes like T.Z, banku and the likes, and some of the other ones like fried rice and you know... This place is easily recommendable to anyone just passing through the region, or someone staying and looking for an affordable food joint, yes, this place could easily pass as your launch or supper joint if you're in town temporarily and looking for something that will not break your account yet satisfy you fairly. For as low as 7 cedis you can get a descent meal here, and I mean it. If you don't mind eating out, this place gives you that option of eating there. Ok, enough of the "yari yari", I'm giving this place 4 stars not because they have everything a restaurant should have or because they serve the best food... oh, I should add that the food here taste good as well, just in case you were wondering. I'm telling you you can be

Raymond Nyarko★★★Too much spices in the food especially their fried rice but their Guinea fowl taste nice
Kim Chung★★★★★I went here in 2023/24 on a regular basis (almost every day) and I would say that it's one of the best places to buy food in Ghana. Full recommendation, never had any problems with my stomach. One of the things I really miss about Tamale, fried rice with chicken at De Shallot.
abdulai yahaya★★★★It's a very nice place to sit or even carry your food away. What I enjoy there most is their rice balls. You need to give it a trial. Keep it up. I will recommend De Shallot to any one looking for good and quality food around tamale.
