“Cute concept. The food tasted average and the orange iced coffee could've been better. The place looked really pretty and instagrammy...just a note that the steps INSIDE the cafe were really to small..though the outside steps were wide. Overall, one of the pleasant pinteresty cafes in bandra”

Aniket★★★★Cafe Steps in Bandra is one of those rare places that feels warm, cosy, and thoughtfully designed from the moment you walk in. The café is built around a beautiful tamarind tree, and the entire two-floor structure blends naturally around it, giving the place a very charming and peaceful vibe. The construction and interiors are simple yet aesthetically done. Seating is limited though, so it works much better for smaller groups of 2–3 people. Larger groups may struggle to find seating together. The first floor is air-conditioned, while the second floor is open and without AC. Parking is almost impossible around the café, so taking a cab is definitely the better option. The food was excellent — honest, home-style cooking without being overly greasy or unnecessarily fancy. We tried the avocado toast, veg farmer sandwich, chicken farmer sandwich, scrambled eggs and toast, mushroom toast, onion rings, cheese mushroom garlic bread, and cheese fries. Everything tasted fresh and comforting. Th
Namrata★★★★Hit this aesthetic gem yesterday with my friend and wow 😍 The vibe? Insane. The path to it is gorgeous, and it literally feels like a cafe built _inside_ a house — huge tree cutting right through the middle. Aesthetic goals Food: - Pink sauce pasta (Jain)– They customized it for us, super thoughtful, and it was _chef’s kiss_ excellent - Cheesy fries– Mid, but didn’t ruin the mood Service:10/10. Quick, warm, and on point. Portions are HUGE, so you won’t leave hungry. Fries were meh, but the pasta + vibe + service made up for it big time. Verdict:Pricey + seating’s not for all-day chilling, but 100% worth one visit for the experience. Come for the tree, stay for the pasta 🌳🍝
Shreya Deshmukh★★★★★Steps Cafe in Bandra is a really good spot if you’re someone who enjoys spending time alone or prefers quiet, low-pressure spaces. The cafe is spread across three levels, each with a distinct vibe. The ground floor has a bakery-style setup with a display of baked sweets and goodies. I didn’t try anything from there, but it does add a warm, inviting feel the moment you enter. The first floor, accessed via quite steep stairs, is an enclosed, air-conditioned space with enough room for group meetups. It feels more structured and social. I chose to sit on the second floor, which is an open seating area and easily the highlight of the cafe. There’s a shared seating arrangement with long tables along the edges, facing outward, so you’re not directly facing other people. For introverts, this layout is a blessing. What truly stands out is the massive old banyan tree around 100-150 years old running through the cafe. Instead of cutting it down, the cafe has been built around it, which adds a ca
Brindha★★★★I had a really pleasant experience at Steps Cafe. The ambience was excellent very aesthetic, cozy, and perfect for spending a relaxed afternoon. It has a calm and comfortable vibe that makes you want to sit for a while, catch up with friends, or even get some work done. The service was also wonderful. The staff were attentive, polite, and made the whole experience smooth and welcoming. I also liked the fact that the cafe was built with a living tree being a part of it. The only small downside for me was the mango chia pudding I ordered. It was just average. I feel it might have been the mango they chose, as the flavor didn’t quite hit the mark for me personally. It wasn’t bad, just not something I would specifically come back for. I’d definitely visit again to try other items on the menu.
Tushar Buch★★★★★Cool place to hang out. Built around an over 100 years old tamarind tree, Steps Café has a very special ambience. Tucked away on Tertulian Rd , Bandra West, the zany steps ( about a decade ago it was a conventional boring steep ascent towards Mt Mary Hill. A very friendly lady from Goa who seemed to be in charge informed us that they plan to open a restaurant within Steps Café precincts that would cater authentic Goa cuisine-that would include Vegetarian recipes. Can hardly wait for the opening!
Sai Zade★★★★★well this place sure deserves 5 stars for food, atmosphere and service, i mean all 3 of these were perfect to my opinion. Food was nice like it is to be served in a nice cafe, should be worth every penny for the price, and god those onion rings. and well what i paid the money was for sure the vibes and service of the cafe, the staff was cool and it is the perfect to have something yum and talk with your people for hours, because thats what i did.

Nazmeen khan★★★★This cafe recommended by my brother so we both are together here after long wait. I visited this when I craves for cold coffee because this place one of my best place for cold coffee. I like the fresh Cold coffee of here. I tried money place cold coffee but this is my favourite place. To reached here the way is so beautiful long steps first you have to walk down and reached but second way no steps walking just reached by bike or car. But i like the steps way because is so natural. This cafe is not big but th way thy are architecture pretty unique. Thye choose not cut the three between branch of tamarind tree thye keep it like that and decorate the place like that. So cozy place I lik the atmosphere vibe and decoration. Light are here pretty good. At second floor open windows so sunlight enter and breez. I spotted different types of birds here it you are lucky you might be spot kingfisher bird here. Butterfly also i spotted. So it's feel so forest like experience. I love to sit at secon
