Visited OKRA for my parents’ 37th anniversary expecting a memorable experience from a 5-star restaurant. Initially, the welcome and service were good. However, things changed after I opened a towel/napkin at the table and found hair all over it. Human errors can happen anywhere, even in luxury hospitality, but what truly matters is how the staff handles the situation afterward. Instead of proactively changing the setup or reassuring us properly, the staff seemed more focused on quickly taking the napkin away. That response felt disappointing for a restaurant operating at this standard. One floor manager, Gaurav, came across as rude and unprofessional during the interaction, and after the incident he was nowhere to be seen. In contrast, another manager, Yuvraj, handled the remainder of the situation much better. "I visited the Marriott OKRA for a lunch buffet on June 9th to celebrate my Mom’s birthday. While the food was good and the general waitstaff was incredibly kind and attentive, our experience was deeply overshadowed by the behaviour of the Main MANAGER, GAURAV (a tall, dusky-toned man with a bulky build, heavy personality guy). True 5-star hospitality means treating every guest with equal respect, but this manager clearly treated people differently based on his own snap judgments just because we asked if there is any space inside because we were been seated at the entrance.
